About the Role

ZOZO New Zealand Limited operates within the ZOZO Group, a global fashion technology company focused on creating innovative digital experiences and designing products that enhance customer satisfaction through high-quality digital solutions.

We are seeking an Associate Product Designer for our Newmarket, Auckland office. This permanent, full-time position involves delivering user-centred product design outcomes that support business objectives and user needs, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers and stakeholders from discovery through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support feature and user experience design from discovery through to delivery.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and user needs.
  • Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, mock-ups and design documentation.
  • Apply design standards, design system components and accessibility principles consistently.
  • Engage in user research, usability testing, workshops and design reviews.
  • Communicate design concepts and decisions clearly.
  • Identify opportunities to improve products and user experiences.
  • Build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Manage workload and priorities to meet project deadlines.

Skills and Experience

Applicants must have:

  • A relevant qualification in Product Design, UX Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Design or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in Product Design, UX Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other design and prototyping tools.
  • A sound understanding of user-centred design principles.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
